Turin – February 15, 2019
As the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Middle East has been reconfirmed for 2019 with 2 rounds on 2 consecutive weekends in Dubai (February 14-16) and Abu Dhabi (February 21-23 ), SEL has been reapponted for the 3rd year as the logistics supplier of the series.
Operations started on the first week of January in La Spezia with the loading of the 18 Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo Evo and their spare parts in 11 containers, which were shipped on January 11 via ocean freight to the Middle East.
The cargo, weighting around 33.000 kg, arrived on the first days of February to the port of Jebel Ali and on February 10 it was grounded and unloaded on time and in full at the Dubai Autodrome, where the race is due to start on February 14.
At conclusion of the competition, on the 16th, the 18 cars will be transported to Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi for the second and last round of the Super Trofeo.
SEL team, who will be present on site to oversee all the logistics for the 2 events, will make sure that the cars are handled with care and attention.
The loading and the departure to Europe of the Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo Evo will take place on February 24, while the arrival to the Italian port of La Spezia will be at the end of March.
“Team SEL have been working with Lamborghini Super Trofeo now for 3 full seasons. So it is great that we continue the services for the 2019 Middle East Series” – said Enrico Granozio, Project Manager SEL.
