The 2026 season of the FIM Motocross World Championship officially started in Argentina, marking the first overseas of the season.
For this important opening event, SEL provided a comprehensive range of logistics and travel services in support of the championship ecosystem, working closely with the event organizer, teams and several stakeholders involved in the series.
International logistics for the MXGP paddock
The overseas rounds of the championship require precise coordination and reliable international transport solutions to ensure that all the equipment necessary for the event reaches the venue safely and on schedule.
SEL managed the transportation and coordination of multiple categories of materials essential for the race weekend, including race bikes, spare parts, technical equipment and tools used by the teams throughout the event.
In addition to the teams’ racing equipment, SEL also handled the movement of branding materials and paddock infrastructures, ensuring that all visual and operational elements required for the championship setup were delivered and installed according to the event schedule.
The operation also included the transport of television broadcasting equipment, tyres and fuel, all critical components that contribute to the successful organization and global broadcast of the MXGP event.
Travel coordination for teams and organizers
Alongside the logistics operations, SEL’s Travel Department coordinated the international travel arrangements for teams and the organizer’s staff involved in the Argentine round.
The focus was on ensuring a smooth and efficient travel experience while optimizing time and costs through careful planning of international flights and connections.
The service included the coordination of local transportation as well as the selection of accommodation solutions tailored to the specific needs of each team and staff group.
Particular attention was given to choosing hotels that offered high service standards and convenient proximity to the race venue, allowing participants to move easily between accommodation and the paddock.
Supporting the global logistics of the championship
Overseas events represent some of the most demanding moments in the MXGP calendar, requiring seamless coordination between logistics, travel management and event operations.
Through its integrated approach and experience in international sports events, SEL continues to support the championship with reliable and efficient solutions that allow teams, organizers and partners to focus entirely on the sporting side of the competition.
