The FIA TCR World Tour continues its Asian campaign, with SEL supporting the championship’s logistics operations across multiple destinations.
Following our work at Inje Speedium in South Korea, the championship’s first overseas round of the season, our team moved on to China, completing container deliveries in Chengdu and starting operations in Zhuzhou, host of the championship’s upcoming rounds.
Containers and Equipment: Every Delivery Plays a Part in the Race
Container logistics is a key component of motorsport operations. Containers carry race cars, spare parts, technical equipment and all the materials teams need to prepare for and compete in each event.
From South Korea to China, SEL coordinates deliveries to keep pace with the championship as it moves from one venue to the next, ensuring continuity across the logistics chain and helping teams and organisers meet their operational schedules.
Transporting Kumho Tyres Across Asia
Alongside container logistics, SEL has also coordinated the transport of tyres for Kumho Tire, the event’s main sponsor, supporting the championship’s tyre-changing operations.
Shipments from South Korea to the Chinese rounds, and onwards to other destinations, form an additional part of the logistics operation, helping ensure the availability of essential materials for on-track activities.
These dedicated transport services are part of a complex logistics network in which different shipments must be carefully coordinated according to their destinations, schedules and the championship’s operational requirements.
