The Longines Global Champions Tour (LGCT), together with the Global Champions League (GCL), is the most exclusive international circuit dedicated to show jumping, recognised as the true ‘Formula 1’ of equestrian sport. Launched in 2006, it brings together the world’s finest riders and horses every year in a calendar of iconic venues — from Rome to Paris, from Miami to Doha — where they compete in the LGCT’s individual competitions and the GCL’s team format, offering a sporting spectacle of the highest calibre.
For the Miami leg, held from 3 to 5 April, SEL – Sport & Events Logistics was once again involved in the international logistics management, confirming a partnership that has been well-established for several years.
Our contribution: precision and reliability without borders
For this edition, SEL handled the shipment of broadcasting equipment for one of the event’s official suppliers, ensuring a comprehensive and punctual service at every stage of the process.
The operation included:
- road and air shipments from Europe to the United States
- management of export and import customs procedures
- logistical coordination through to on-site delivery within the required timeframe
- organisation of return transport at the end of the event
An operation that requires absolute precision, international coordination and the ability to adapt to tight deadlines, which are typical of sporting events of this scale.
