After 2 months of planning and preparation SEL Team is finally in Austin, Texas for the grounding of 26 containers at the Circuit of the Americas for the endurance race Cota 24H.
The containers, with a total weight of 150.000 kg and loaded with 25 racing cars, tires, racing equipment, media broadcasting unites and event organiser materials, arrived to Houston on November, 6 from the ports of Antwerp, Bremerhaven and London Gateway.
After custom clearance and terminal handling at Houston Port, the containers were transported to the circuit and placed on the ground, on time and in full for the delivery to their respective owners: teams, suppliers, organiser and media from Germany, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark and the UK.
The Cota 24h race will take place on November 16 -17- 18 and will see 38 cars on the starting grid coming from Europe and USA.
At conclusion of the race, all racing cars and materials will be collected and reloaded in the containers.
One part of them will be shipped to the Middle East for the next endurance event of the series due to take place in Dubai, UAE on January 11-12, 2019, while the rest will return to Europe, to the respective ports of origin.
SEL team will be on hand throughout the all period for logistics handling and overall support on site to the organiser and teams.
