On the occasion of the Italian leg of the KUMHO TCR World Tour, staged at the historic Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, the Special Projects team of SEL - Sport & Events Logistics met for the first time in attendance.
A long-awaited and significant meeting, which represented an important opportunity to consolidate relationships born and developed over time at a distance, strengthening the sense of belonging and collaboration within a unique context: a high-level international motorsport event.
An intense agenda between strategy, vision and action
The day began with an operational meeting dedicated to discussing current projects, analyzing shared objectives, and defining strategic next steps. It was a valuable moment to align visions, stimulate new ideas, and work concretely on the future of the Special Projects department, which involves several cross-functional business areas and value-added initiatives for SEL's clients.
Afterwards, the team had the opportunity to experience the atmosphere of the competition up close, immersing themselves in the dynamics of the event. The program included lunch in the paddock, live qualifying assistance, a visit to the pits, a face-to-face meeting with the drivers, and a tour of the Kumho hospitality - main sponsor of the championship and official supplier of race tires.
Behind every special project, there is great teamwork
The meeting demonstrated how the value of a team is strengthened even outside of remote meetings: sharing time, experiences and visions in an operational context is key to building trust and fellowship, key elements in tackling complex and innovative projects.
The day in Monza proved to be a perfect balance of strategy, passion and collaboration. It was a concrete opportunity to nurture a sense of teamwork, consolidate internal synergies and experience up close the world SEL works for every day: that of international sports events.
